A 63-year-old Fargo man was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado west on 13th Avenue South in the middle lane around 5:50 a.m. when the truck hit the woman at the intersection of 32nd Street South, according to a news release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol. The woman was in or near the marked crosswalk on the east side of the intersection when she was struck, although it's unknown which direction she was walking, the Highway Patrol said.
